How to use Element to create and sell NFT for beginners
(Please complete all the following operations in the web browser, Google Chrome is recommended)
■ First, Connect your personal wallet
-Open Element (https://www.element.market/), click「Create NFT」button in the right-hand corner
- Element support Metamask and other crypto wallets.
- If you don’t have a crypto wallet, click「Metamask」to set up your wallet.
- Don’t forget your “password” and “Seed phrase-12 random words”. Write it down and put it in a safe place, do not share it with others.
■ Step 1 Create your very first NFT
- Click 「Create」button to upload your NFT
■ Step 2 Complete your NFT description
- An absorbing and complete description of NFT, includes「name」and「Description」, helps your future buyers to understand its background.
■ Step 3 Set Additional attributes (optional)
- Additional attributes are optional, suitable for series NFTs, describe the different appearance of different NFT in the same collection, define scarcity visually.
■ Step 4 Select Number of Copies
- Choose how many copies of each NFT you wanna sell,「Single」or「Multiple」, we support ERC-721 and ERC-1155.
■ Step 5 Set Collection
- Collection is a very important concept in the NFT world. Set a collection with a unique style may make your asset’s value grows continuously in the future.
- You need to upload
an appropriate image or logo as the cover of your collection, fill in the title and description, then choose the proper classified label.
- After the collection set, click「Create」to generate your NFT, so your work could be browsed now.
■ Step 6 Launch
- Choose「Set Price」or「Highest Bid」 for your created NFT,choose the type of currency you want to receive and set a certain price for it. Don’t forget to set the sale time.
- In the fixed-price mode, if you choose Dutch auction here, you set the lowest price first, then the selling price will linearly decrease from the fixed price to the lowest price within the set period of time. If someone bids during the period, the NFT will be sold at the current price.
- In the auction mode, you can start selling your work after setting the initial price and auction time. You can set a Reserve price here.
- Every creator needs to pay a one-time gas fee to initialize his or her account. After that, with the same creator, there is no gas fee anymore during the future launch process.
About Royalty & Collection Settings
The collection setting allows you to set up a maximum 10% royalty for your NFTs, so that you can receive this percentage of the selling price for all future secondary transactions under the collection. The specific operations are as follows:
Click “My collections” and select the collections that you want to adjust.
Click the edit button in the upper right corner.
Royalty shall be any number less than 10% (two decimal places can be reserved). Royalty shall be accepted at any address.
In addition, you can also make more detailed settings on the “Collection Head Figure”, “custom link”, “payment token”, “add links” and to improve your collection.
You can also add collaborators and their wallet addresses to modify together.
